SLIIT has started a new Schools Program.
Program awards Teachers with a Diploma in Information Technology (TDIT).
This Diploma (TDIT) will help school teachers to do a quality teaching for children in their GIT subject for A/L and O/L ICT subject.
Sri Lankan IT industry has a great future.
Government has done a great job to promote ICT to school level.
Yet there are practical issues making it a reality. As a developing nation our schools have very bad IT facilities, most schools don't even have a computer lab. hopefully things will change and our country will have a better future.
