How to choose from Curtin Vs SLIIT Degree (Curtin SLIIT)

You are going to 3rd year and wondering which path to choose from Curtin Vs SLIIT degree??
Here are some tips from my personal experiences.

Curtin degree is not that hard than most people say, I also did the Curtin degree and passed all subjects without repeating a single exam.

Benefits of Curtin degree,
1) You have to do 4 subjects but SLIIT degree has 5.
2) Degree is recognized all around the world.
3) you get a degree in 3 years.
4) you can do the 4th year as well for double degree.

Bad side of Curtin degree,
1) Expensive than SLIIT degree.
2) Repeat is also expensive.
3) Exam papers are created by Curtin
4) Since repeats are expensive the pressure in exams is much more than SLIIT degree.

SLIIT : Saddest Day Of My SLIIT Life

Today is the saddest day of my SLIIT life.
Curtin CC 2nd midterm marks were given to students and I missed it, because I was late when I saw it in the courseweb.
The sad part of it is that all other students went to that and no one even bothered to call me or my GF when we were missing :-(
I know it's not their fault but I feel really sad about it.
Today I learned one of the best lessons in my life, Yes you guessed it right.

Got more Curtin midterm-2 marks :-)
DBMS III - 36/60
SPD2 - 40/50

For DBMS3, not the best marks when compared to others but I'm happy with it :-)
For SPD2 most students got good marks.

SLIIT : Curtin Final Exam

Curtin final exam for SLIIT students is due on 10th to 15th October.
It's been a reasonably hard week for me because of my long held back studies.
there are many things to cover in a short time of period. I'm sure that rest of the weeks before the exam would need lot of hard work so I can get a pass.

SLIIT : Curtin SETM Assignment 2

We need to modify the given ByteParser code.
It should be able to identify number of:
1)Private Methods.
2)Public Methods.
3)Protected Methods.
4)Static Methods and unspecified methods in a given class file.

Coding part is easy but the documentation is harder than I expected.

SETM Assignment 2 - Due on 4:00 pm Friday 14 September.

This is really crazy, how can we possibly do these Assignment, all given at the same time.

Curtin Midterm is over :-)

Wow, one curtin midterm is over :-) but another two to go with the finals.
Today SPD2 and Computer Communication(CC) papers were alright but not easy.
I will make a post about XML serialization for SLIIT and Curtin students because it is much more easier than it looks ;-)

SLIIT : Curtin SPD 2

SPD2 : This Subject is really hard for curtin students.
Tiers and layers in J2EE and .NET
XML serialization - easy than it seems
JSP and ASP
Architecture of a .NET assembly
database access(JDBC)
and many more.........

SPD2 is a fun subject yet the content is too wide and complex to cover in one semester, In my opinion SPD should be divided in to two more subjects.

Curtin DBMS III (DS362) Midterm paper was bit harder than I expected.
Paper was easy but the problem was with the time.
Mainly mistakes that I have done was careless ones :-(
